    There are three important limits to maintaining confidentiality:

    • when there is risk of harm or neglect to a child or vulnerable/dependent adult;

    • when a counsellor believes you or another person is at clear and imminent risk of being harmed;

    • or, when there is a legal requirement to disclose (e.g. subpoena).

  • The cost of the session depends on the length and type of session. Individual sessions of 50 minutes cost $150 plus GST. Longer 80-minute sessions cost $220 plus GST. Case consultation fees charged at the same rates may be applied to support provided outside of regular sessions (e.g. consultation with the client, school personnel, medical professionals such as a psychiatrist, etc.).

  • Registered clinical counsellors are covered by many insurance providers. Please consult with your insurance provider before booking an appointment. Clients are billed directly but may have the option to submit invoices to their provider for reimbursement.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, 24 hours notice is required. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the client being charged the full amount of the missed session.
